Main Character: Champions
All the madness lead to the ultimate underdog matchup between UConn and San Diego State, but it was the Huskies that prevailed when the clock hit triple zero's.
🎵 We are the Champions 🎵
The UConn Huskies are your 2023 NCAA Men's National Champions!
The tournament champs will be remembered for their dominant performances from start to finish as they won each tournament game by double digits for the sixth time in college basketball history. Jordan Hawkins, Adama Sonogo and Tristen Newton did their thing as each finished with a double-double in the biggest game of each of their careers. And for Sonogo, he earned some extra hardware by being honored as the Men's Most Outstanding Final Four Player of the tournament.

San Diego State gave their best effort, but last night was all about the Huskies. Dan Hurley brought this team out of the darkness and into the wonderful college basketball light as they now sit on top as the best of the best in 2023.
Aztecs Fought Hard
Don't get it twisted, San Diego State gave the Huskies arguably their toughest test of the tournament.
SDSU started the game with a lead, but allowed a 30-10 run throughout most of the first half which proved to be too much to overcome. The second half showed a glimpse of hope for Aztec fans as they closed the lead to just 5, but a couple of turnovers and game-altering three pointers later, it was all but game over.
In a tournament that saw the ultimate amount of chaos, San Diego State deserves the utmost respect for the run they went on. Getting to their first ever Final Four, winning at the buzzer for an all-time March Madness moment, and going toe-to-toe against the best team in college basketball is not something to hang your head about.
The Mountain West proved they belong in college basketball and can compete at the highest level, so we don't expect this to be the last we see from Head Coach Brian Dutcher and the rest of the squad down in San Diego.
One Shining Moment
One of the best traditions in all of sports is the tournament montage known as 'One Shining Moment'. Please, I beg of you, this is top 2 sports video of the year, and it's not 2. Give it a watch if you want to experience all of the emotions, regardless of the team you root for.

You May Not Have Seen THIS 👀
Amidst all the drama the Baltimore Ravens and Lamar Jackson have stirred up, the front office put together a potential peace offering in the contract offer of coveted wide receiver free agent Odell Beckham Jr.
Update: The #Ravens have offered WR Odell Beckham a contract, via @AdamSchefter
It seems that the #Jets and #Ravens are the two teams in the mix for Odell, with the #Rams also possibly in the mix.

Rumors have been swirling for the better part of six months on OBJ's potential landing spot, but the Ravens are the first team to officially extend an offer. Beckham Jr. sat out the 2022-2023 NFL season to rehab his torn ACL, but many believe he has made a complete recovery and still has the elite traits he held before the injury that occurred in Super Bowl LVI.
Whether it's a tactic to entice Lamar Jackson to stay, or a potential piece for the future of the offense, the Ravens have put themselves in a good spot to land Beckham.

Hello, friends and welcome to the best week in all of golf: Masters Week.
There's nothing particularly wholesome about this specific video, but it's hard not to get romantic about Augusta National. Today, the Par 3 tournament will take place, and there's sure to be lots of wholesome family moments for tomorrow's edition.

Monday's Results
✅ UConn -7.5 vs SDSU
✅ Yankees -170 vs Phillies
❌ Rangers -135 & O 8.5 runs vs. Orioles; Parlay for +240
About last week...
UCONN. UCONN. UCONN. THAT'S ALL I WANT TO HEAR ABOUT. I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT MY OTHER BET WAS. UCONN 25-1!! HUSKIES!!! They were the best team all tournament and even won every game by double digits. I was not even a tiny bit worried when SDSU went on their little run in the second half, that's how good this team was.. What a run. I will never forget these 2023 UConn Huskies.
🏒 NHL: Columbus vs. Toronto U 7
I don’t know, I just have a feeling about this one. The line seems high to me, and I feel like Toronto either scores 2 goals or 6 and there really isn’t much in between. Toronto also is very good at home for the under as well.
🏒 NHL: Avalanche -1.5 (+112) vs. San Jose
The Avalanche have covered this spread in their last 4 games. They are the better, more well rested team, and should win very easily here. Throw in the at plus money and this is a pick you absolutely need to smash.
As per usual, do you what you must with this valuable information.
🐣 Tweet of the Day 🐣
"I'm told that the [Mavericks are] seriously considering the possibility of shutting down [Luka and Kyrie]," per @ShamsCharania 😳
Dallas is one game back from the play-in

If you would have told us two months ago that Luka and Kyrie were being shut down for the season, everyone would have thought it would be to rest up for a championship run. The Mavericks have gone from playoff shoe-ins to lottery pick in the blink of an eye, and Dallas needs to plan for its (hopefully) bright future if they plan to contend in the coming years.
