The Human Flamethrower, Feelin’ Good, and much more!
Good morning everyone! Here's what news we ✨snagged✨ for you around the sports world today:
🔥 The Human Flamethrower
👍 Feelin’ Good
🚀 ...and much more! Let's get into it.
👑 Main Character
For all you baseball novices out there, Luis Arraez is a name you are going to want to know going forward.
Last night against the Blue Jays, Arraez went 5-5 for the third time this month and has a batting average back up to .400. To put into perspective just how wild that is, no big leaguer has achieved a season-long average at or above .400 since baseball legend Ted Williams did so in the 1941 season. While there’s still a lot of season to go, the fact Arraez is even in this stratosphere of numbers at this point in the season shows he’s up to something quite special.
Most 5-hit games in one season by an MLB hitter:
Ty Cobb, 4 (1922)
Stan Musial, 4 (1948)
Tony Gwynn, 4 (1993)
Ichiro Suzuki, 4 (2004)LUIS ARRÁEZ HAS THREE 5-HIT GAMES THIS MONTH!

He even has the Marlins, a historically average franchise, in second place in the NL East and are just four games back of the Atlanta Braves. His 102 hits this season is the most in the majors, and is more than double the amount of the hits the Twins (the team who traded him) best hitter has. Let’s take a live look in on what it takes to put up these numbers:

Regardless of how you feel about all of this, baseball history is in the making. Forget about All-Star, it’s time to start considering him as an MVP candidate.

Feel great !!

Dalvin Cook has been one of the most prolific running backs in the NFL for the last couple of years. The Vikings, however, decided to part ways with their backfield speedster and the free agent market thus far has been less than desirable.
In an interview with NFL Insider Adam Schefter he told teams and fans alike how he’s feeling post surgery and talked about his excitement for the future. ‘Feel great !!’ is as good as it gets, and teams looking to improve or bolster their running back room should jump at the opportunity to get this man on their roster. TBD on where he ends up, but he did mention possibly teaming up with fellow free agent DeAndre Hopkins…👀

❌ Red Sox vs. Twins NRFI / U 8 runs
About last night...
My brain was clouded by the sadness from the U.S. Open, and that is the only reason why these bets missed. Also, I hate the Mets so much. Every time I bet on them, they end up doing the exact opposite. They are approaching A’s ‘stay away’ territory for me.
⚾️ MLB: Rangers -132 vs. White Sox
Baseball is all about betting on pitchers, and Nathan Eovaldi has been so good all year long. I would have this line closer to -155 for the Rangers, so hop on it while you still can as they are the clear better team. They may be slumping as of late, but still the better team nonetheless.
⚾️ MLB: Rockies vs. Reds O 10 runs
The Reds are an absolute electric factory with Elly de la Cruz, and now, Joey Votto back in the lineup. The Rockies are a really, really bad team, and hteir starting pitcher tonight in Noah Davis has a 6.17 ERA. There should be more than enough runs to go around.
