What you are looking at right now could be the future of the NBA. Yesterday, the NBA world was set on fire after Shams a.k.a. baby Woj reported that Kyrie Irving reached out to Lebron James about a potential reunion in Dallas.

This seems all fine and dandy (especially for our Dallas readers) but logistically, it’s hard to make sense of it all. Getting Lebron and Kyrie back while having the future in Luka Doncic would carry a ton of cap for the Mavs, and Dallas likely does not have enough assets of its own to make room for James.

However, the thought of the idea is amazing, and would create a team the likes of 2016 Golden State with Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and others. It remains to be determined what exactly will happen, but until we hear a firm “no” Mavericks fans, and NBA fans everywhere, can only imagine what would become of a team of that caliber.

Like father like son! At this point, it seems inevitable we will see Charlie Woods climb his way up the PGA ladder into golf history, but until then, we get to see his freak genetic ability play out in the junior leagues.

The Colts have a bit of a PR problem at the moment. Apparently Mr. Rodgers (not the red sweater guy and not the Jets newest thrower) is being investigating for placing bets on a variety of sports throughout last year, including the NFL.

We’ve seen Calvin Ridley’s punishment for placing for a handful of wagers on games that he wasn’t playing in, but if Rodgers is found guilty, he could be facing some serious suspension, and could even need to seek out a new career. More details are slowly coming out, but if this is as bad as it looks, things are not going to go well for him. Hopefully he at least won a couple of those bets.

About last night...

I said this during the NHL season as I was getting my grips on that league: iron sharpens iron so one bet sharpens another. I’m starting to love the very thing I hate about baseball, and that is how many games are played. I can keep the momentum going longer than football, basketball, and hockey season. I am loving it.

⚾️ MLB: Rangers -150 vs. Cardinals

Listen, there is 162 games for each team, so I’m bound to have quite a few repeats. This won’t be the last time I put a hefty wager on the Rangers. Dane Dunning on the mound, hottest team versus the biggest slumping team in the Cardinals…massive play here.

⚾️ MLB: Pirates -1.5 vs. Oakland

I went back to back picks on the A’s, and they won them both, and then they followed that up with losing 5 straight. This is a get right pick as the Pirates will rightfully kick the living daylight out of the A’s and keep their losing streak going.

⚾️ MLB: Rays -178 vs. Twins / NRFI

Might have to place a recurring bet on the Rays and Rangers every game. I will keep riding Zac Eflin as long as he stays solid. Rays huge here as well.
