• A boatload of money

• A share of Apple’s revenue generated by their MLS Season Pass

• A share of Adidas profits

• An option to buy a new MLS club upon retirement

Messi denied the more popular option nowadays from the Saudi league for a reported 3-year, 1.6 billion dollar deal. He claims it ‘sets his future up better’, and honestly, I don’t disagree with him. Now, America gets the sports’ brightest star, and has been seen by Miami’s instagram follower account skyrocket.

We call that the Messi Effect. Other things that are skyrocketing are Inter Miami tickets. It is rumored he will make his debut on July 21st, and the cheapest ticket on the market is hovering around $500 at the moment. Whether you are one of the lucky ones who will see him in person, or just an enjoyer of the most beautiful game, Messi to the USA is huge for soccer, and it seems like he’s ready for whatever comes his way.
