This team will go down as one of the softball greats after finishing the season with a 61-1 record. They went on a 54-game win streak to close out the season, recorded 35 shutouts, held a run differential of +442, and only trailed in 8% of plays throughout the entire season. This team will go down with the 90’s Bulls, the ‘10s Patriots, and could even reach the allure of the dominant Celtics back in the 60’s.

Is this a bad for collegiate sports? Superteams are not new to the sporting world, and we’ve seen Alabama dominate in football, Florida rule the college basketball landscape, and eventually, they fall (just a little bit) from top dog status. OU Softball is not going anywhere anytime soon, and it will take a team giving all they got to knock them off in the future.

The Florida Panthers are on the board in the Stanley Cup Finals after a dramatic OT win down in South Beach.

Matthew Tkachuk, the team’s most clutch player throughout the NHL Playoffs, scored to tie the game at two with 2:13 left in regulation, and in overtime, Carter Verhaeghe put the puck in the back of the net to send the rats into a frenzy.

The P’s refuse to go away, and have shown all playoffs long that they can, and will, win in tight spots. As recent history has shown, don’t expect this team to go away anytime soon.

Sometimes you just don’t love the board, and you need to stay away cause the board will eat you alive. I really had no faith in the Angels to win and their pitching showed up for once. Onto the next.
